NARROPAM PLUS 10™

Description

Narropam PLUS 10 MG TABLET contains a combination of Clonazepam and Escitalopram which
belongs to the group of medicines called Antidepressants. It is indicated for the treatment of comorbid
depression and anxiety disorder.
Narropam Plus 10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: clonazepam and escitalopram. It is used
to treat anxiety disorders. Clonazepam increases the effect of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and
produces a calming effect by suppressing the abnormal activity of nerve cells. Escitalopram is a
selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI); it increases the serotonin levels in the brain, thereby
improving mood and behaviour.
Comorbid depression and anxiety disorder is a condition in which the person has anxiety and
depression together at the same time. Symptoms are persistent feelings of sadness or loss of interest,
changes in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration or daily behaviour, feeling nervous or restless,
fast heart rate, heavy breathing.
